Mercedes Bent is a Venture Partner at Lightspeed and founder of a new VC firm. Mercedes was a Partner at Lightspeed for over 5 years and has a MBA and Masters in Education from Stanford University, and an AB from Harvard University in Behavioral Economics. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active – hiking, skiing and off-roading in her Jeep – and staying true to her nerdy roots – running a scifi book club, playing Catan, and dealing playing cards very, very fast.
