Detavio Samuels serves as CEO of REVOLT, the leading youth culture multimedia platform delivering content 24/7 across digital, linear, and live media channels, and of Offscript Worldwide, a newly launched parent company unifying and scaling culture-shaping brands including REVOLT, REVOLT Sports, Rap-Up, 440 Artists, Six Zeros, Rebel House, and more. As CEO of REVOLT, Samuels oversees the company’s mission in amplifying diverse voices to shape the narrative around Black culture. Since stepping into the role in January 2021, Samuels has transformed REVOLT into a powerful storytelling engine for Black voices globally. Under his leadership, the company has experienced rapid growth and digital expansion, reaching over 50 million Millennial and Gen Z viewers as a transformative leader in media.

In 2025, Samuels expanded his leadership as CEO of Offscript Worldwide, a next-generation media and creator ecosystem built at the intersection of content, creators, and commerce. Through Offscript, he is spearheading a bold vision to transform the media landscape—building a connected platform where storytelling, creator partnerships, and commerce work together to drive cultural impact.

Samuels has also championed initiatives including REVOLT’s $50 million annual reinvestment into the Black community, programs that secure investor funds for Black entrepreneurs without requiring equity, and efforts that ensure content creators receive ownership in the IP they help produce. He also continues to prioritize diversity across company structures and mindsets, helping instill a dedication to culture across both internal teams and public-facing platforms. In addition to his role as CEO, Samuels is the host of REVOLT’s The Blackprint, a show where innovators, disruptors, and changemakers share their journeys and lessons learned to inspire the next generation of leaders.

With over a decade of executive experience, Samuels has worked with global companies such as Walmart, McDonald’s, AT&T, Chrysler, the NBA, and Johnson & Johnson, helping them build impactful brands that resonate deeply with their audiences. Recognized as one of corporate America’s youngest and most accomplished senior executives, he has earned accolades including Adweek’s Creative Visionary Awards – Brand Leader of 2022, Digiday’s TV Executive of the Year 2022, and the T. Howard Foundation’s Executive Leadership Award of 2023. In addition to his notable work within creative industries, Samuels is also an Amazon best-selling author.

Samuels received his B.A. from Duke University, along with an MBA and master’s degree from Stanford University, all by the age of 25. He continues to redefine the media landscape, building platforms that elevate and celebrate culture globally.
